Defibtech’s latest lifesaving resuscitation product, the Lifeline ARM, has been selected as the Bronze Winner in the Critical-Care and Emergency Medicine Products category of the Medical Design Excellence Awards (MDEA), an annual competition for new products. The Lifeline ARM Automated Chest Compression device is an automated and portable, battery- or AC-powered solution that provides adult sudden cardiac arrest victims cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) according to American Heart Association / European Resuscitation Council (AHA/ERC) guidelines. Products were judged based on design and engineering innovation; function and user‐related innovation; patient benefits; business benefits; and overall benefit to the healthcare system.
“We are honored to be recognized by the MDEA judges,” said Defibtech President & CEO Gintaras Vaisnys. “The precise operation of the Lifeline ARM helps to ensure high-quality and continuous CPR associated with better survival for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.”
