Free Software Upgrade
The software upgrade procedure is very simple. Besides your AED, the only thing
you will need is a software upgrade data card. Defibtech is providing this software
card free of charge. The software card will be mailed to you directly or provided
to you by your distributor.
Distributors or customers can perform the upgrade, there where the AED is located.
Customers do not need to send their AEDs to Defibtech. Detailed instructions on
how to perform the upgrade can be found in the “Upgrade Procedure” document found below.

Customer Letter and Upgrade Procedure
The letter describes the upgrade procedure and includes important instructions and notes regarding your AED. The upgrade procedure is very simple, but if you prefer, your distributor or a Defibtech customer service representative will gladly walk you through the process over the phone. If you would like step-by-step verbal instructions from a Defibtech representative please call 1-877-453-4507 or 1-203-453-4507 and make sure you have your AED and software upgrade card with you at the time of the call.

Certification Card
This card is used to confirm that you have upgraded your AED. Please fill
out this card and fax it to Defibtech at 1-203-738-1072 once your unit has been
upgraded. Please be sure to follow the instructions on the card and provide
all necessary information.

User Manual Addendum
The Addendum contains sections of the Defibtech User Manual revised to correspond
to the 2005 AHA/ERC Guidelines. The addendum should be kept with and used alongside
Defibtech User Manuals prior to Revision F.
