Upgrade Procedure

This document describes how to upgrade your AED. The procedure is very simple, but if you prefer, your distributor or a Defibtech customer service representative will gladly walk you through the process over the phone. If you would like step-by-step verbal instructions from a Defibtech representative, please call 1-877-453-4507 or 1-203-453-4507 and make sure you have your AED, battery, and upgrade kit with you at the time of the call.

Upgrade Confirmation Card

This card is used to confirm that you have upgraded your AED. Please fill out this card and fax it to Defibtech at 1-203-738-1072 once your unit has been upgraded. Please be sure to follow the instructions on the card and provide all necessary information.") and add a PDF of the approved/released Upgrade Confirmation Card.

Safety Alert for DDU-100 series AEDs

Defibtech is notifying customers of a corrective action regarding DDU-100 series AEDs sold under the brand names Lifeline AED and ReviveR AED. You can check whether your AED is affected by entering your serial number(s) below.

AED Serial Number Verification

STEP 1: Remove the pads from the storage pouch found on the back of your DDU-100 series AED and inspect the 9-digit serial number label. See illustration at right for location of the 9-digit serial number label.
