Aurora University in Williams Bay, Wisconsin, experienced a somber day last autumn. On this day, the university held a memorial service for an employee of the school's groundskeeping staff who died suddenly of cardiac arrest seven months earlier. The certification process included a full quality system audit by an approved Notified Body to the ISO 13485 standard (Quality systems - Medical devices). The CE Marking approval process certified that Defibtech is in full quality compliance with European Union (EU) Directives for Medical Devices in the design, production, sales and services for Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and accessories.
