Defibtech AED Wins Medical Design Excellence Award (MDEA)
Guilford, CT – April 6, 2005 – Defibtech today announced that the Defibtech AED has received a 2005 Medical Design Excellence Award (MDEA). Defibtech's AED was chosen as a winner in the critical-care and emergency medicine products category. This latest award is just one of a growing list of accolades presented to Defibtech and its products within the last year.
The Medical Design Excellence Awards competition is the only awards program that exclusively recognizes contributions and advances in the design of medical products. The program is organized and presented by Canon Communications, the publishers of Medical Device & Diagnostic Industry Magazine (MD&DI), the leading publication of the medical design industry. The MDEA competition is open to companies worldwide.
